My favourite out of the lot was the huka one. We use white sugar in our household and the black stands out from that. But it is very difficult to see the other font names such as kawhe and mairo, even when set behind a white wall in our kiihini. Love the concept of black on black but I loved the white and blackcolours from the precious set/ white and gold for the maamaa mugs, it made the wording stand out in the kitchen. I appreciate your kaupapa of maaori typography and really enjoyed the macrons on the wording like tii. It was fun and also added that flare we needed in our kitchen to spice it up. Normalising reo maaori within the whare is what we aim to do, my tamariki are in main stream. So introducing phrases like "he kapu tii maau" has been so easy and keen for the kids since they can make that differentiation for themselves when picking up the kawhe or tii canister.
Overall, ngaa mihi Taputapu this amazing set and can't wait to see whats in next.
