Designed by our Taputapu Toi team we present to you our latest modern, contemporary prints. Hang our prints as you see fit in your lounge, guest room, office or hallway. This set of four brings together a series of prints, all unique and distinctive.
A4- Te Koronga, encourages us to look upwards to the sky for inspiration and to also acknowledge the whenua to ground ourselves. The subtle tukutuku patterns represent the weaving of these two things together.
A4- Taiao ora, embodies the essence of a tranquil environment where the interconnected forces of Papatūānuku, Tāwhirimātea, Ranginui, and Tamanuiterā harmoniously converge. Through the intricate line work, the artwork evokes a sense of balance and unity. This design serves as a reminder for us to nurture the balance of these elements.
A3- Kia mau ki tō ūkaipō, remembering our roots, explores whakapapa and navigation. It features the waharua kōpito tāniko pattern and the manu symbol. The outer tapatoru depicts whakapapa, the unbroken chain linking generations, ancestors, and descendants.
A3- Kōkiri, "E kore te pātiki e hoki atu ki tōna puehu" - The flounder does not return to its dust. This proverb is about not repeating the same mistakes. Therefore, the upward movement shown in this design portrays learning from our mistakes and moving forward.
